1. Open the certificate of Digital ID (CertExchangeYourName.fdf) from the sender to be imported in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and click on Set Contact Trust button.

Then verify the email of the sender and select the checkbox Use this certificate as a trusted root and click OK. This is only required first time receiving the signature or the certificate has expired.

2. After signer’s certificate is imported, right click signature to validate if it is VALID as illustrated below. If signature is UNKNOWN then either certificate is not imported or signature is invalid, so please contact DIS Helpdesk for support.
